Why Not?

Romans 10:13-14 says,bartunlovable

“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”

Why not love the unlovable? Why not give grace to those who don’t deserve it? Why not forgive someone who wronged you? Why not share the gospel of grace with someone?

Don’t forget…you were unlovable, you were undeserving of grace, you were in need of forgiveness. And God loved you, gave you unending grace and forgiveness through Jesus. If Jesus is willing to do this for you, why would you not be willing to do these things for others? It wouldn’t make any sense and it doesn’t fit into the Biblical mandate to go and make disciples, to love God and to love your neighbor without condition.

How will they hear if no one tells them? How will your friends and neighbors know about the greatest love story in all the universe, unless you tell them? You might think or hope that someone else will tell them. But what if no one else does? Why not tell them yourself? You’ve already built a trusting relationship with them. You want more than anything that they come to know Christ.

Today, reach out to someone, they are ready to believe.

All for Jesus,
